In 2016 I did a 75 day camping trip across Africa, where we visited 10 countries - we visited Uganda and Rwanda at the beginning of the trip. I wasn't sure was to expect from East Africa, as I was only familiar with southern Africa - however these countries quickly gained a special place in my heart. Instead of safaris and grassland plains, our days were filled with exploring small villages, "Boda Boda" motorcycle rides, markets, adrenaline activities, history and a whole other type of wildlife!
